Our society is a commonly using the term “radicalization “as an act of mass murder in the name of a supreme leader or an ideological cause. The radicals are the extreme right or left fanatical followers, who are willing to die and kill others in compliance to ones sacred belief or creed. So, we are going to witness the slaughter and the massacre of many human lives all around the world and the media would desensitize the horrible events by calling them as radicalization.

However, there are another radicals that we would like to present to the world to give hope to everybody. Please read these words from the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” Matthew 5:38-43

The term, radical is not necessarily a bad word. Jesus is a radical person. He lived his life totally different from many of us. He is radical on loving the Lord God and our neighbors. He gives life and not death. Christ would rather die for us than to save Himself. He taught us to love our neighbors and our adversaries.

We had been radicalized by Jesus words. We do exactly whatever He says and this is the only way we praactice our religion. We are not obsessed with the Bible, Koran or any other religious books. We are willing and ready to die for the gospel of Christ. We pledge our alligeance only to Christ. Make no mistake, we are not church looneys or fanatical heretics. We love people of all religion, race or nationality and even if and when we have enemies. No one should be terrorized by our actions. We are peacemakers and the salt of the earth. We are different from the average Christian that you know of.

There shall be terrorism in this world.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Trib·u·la·tion is a cause of great trouble or suffering. The synonyms of tribulation are distress, trouble, misery, wretchedness, unhappiness, sadness, heartache, woe, grief, sorrow, pain, anguish, agony, trial, tragedy, trauma, turmoil and the last but not the least, TERRORISM.

Jesus said that in this world, we shall have tribulation. Men shall live in terror because they loved darkness than light. Anger, rage and hatred will control the affairs of humanity in the absence of love and respect fo one another. The teaching of Jesus is the antidote to violence. He wanted us to love our enemies and be peacemakers. We should lay down our lives for the sake of others as Jesus did for the whole mankind.

We are no more Muslims or Christians once we decide to follow the words and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the eyes of God, we are either believers of Christ or not regardless of race, religion or nationality. We are judged and condemned according to the words of Christ. For God so loved the world that He gave His Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Gun control may not be the answer to the current rise of violence. Weapon is only a tool to achieve one’s purpose in mind. A person can use anything to kill somebody. What we need to control is the ugly faces of anger in our hearts. We can either subdue our angers or let them consume our passion to death. Misguided religious belief is the source of terroristic manipulation. In fact, there were more people killed in religious war than any other wars.

Listen to what the Lord had said in Matthew 15:18-19, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” The evil heart is the culprit of committing mass murder and false martyrdom in the name of god. Whoever hates his neighbor in his heart has already committed a murder without bloodshed.

It is possible that people are running amuck in hopelessness is due to the lack of love in the lives of church goers or mosque attendees. They don’t see any love or hope from nominal religious practices that they go for radical senseless act of terrorism which is totally an anti-Christ, violent activities contrary to the words of Christ. It is time to go back to basic of loving one another which is the cardinal teaching of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
