But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth:
for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit:
and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:23-24

What is worship? It is to adore in reverence somebody. To adore is to love somebody with respect. Loving is making a connection with someone who is alive and responses dynamically as we are. Worship is a love affair in the most highest form between a lesser being with a Higher Being.

So, the equivalent of worshipping is loving. The Father God is seeking to be loved according to Jesus. He is seeking the true worshipers in short, those who would truly love Him with all their heart, soul and mind. The greatest commandment is about loving our Lord God. We come to worship our Father God because we love Him. There are things that transpire while while we are worshipping in adoration. Things that are unspeakable and beyond description like magnetic field drawing each opposite thing together.

Jesus explained that we must worship our Father in spirit and in truth. Meaning, worship is a spiritual interrelationship between two opposite beings that attract them together in sweet harmony. God is a Spirit and we are human beings made out of flesh but with mind/consciousness, soul and spirit. God does not worship Himself. He is seeking other beings like sons and daughters of the kingdom to worship Him.

The truth is worship is tailored for sons and daughters of God. We worship and pray to our Father. Not anybody can be a true worshiper. The children of God the Father are those who follow the words of Jesus Christ. His words are the Truth for He is the Truth, the Way and the Life.

We can not worship anything but God. We can only worship a Higher Being which is God Himself. There is only one Father to call in line with teaching of Christ. One God who became our Father through Jesus Christ. How can we worship God right if He is not our Father? He will be an unknown God to us if we don’t know Him as our Father.

People can be slaved to anything. They can serve and love material things for a gain. But they can not serve or love both mammon and God. The devil had tempted Jesus by giving the kingdom of this world, and its glory if only Jesus would worship him. Thereafter, Jesus rebuked the devil, saying ” You must worship the Lord thy God and serve Him only.”

Jesus made our worship easy. We can worship our God the Father anywhere, any place and anytime. The moment we love Him, we worship Him so it is a 24/7 relationship, whether you are at home, at work or at play.
