The Joy of Jesus Christ

If ye keep my commandments,

ye shall abide in my love;

even as I have kept my Father’s commandments,

and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you,

that my joy might remain in you,

and that your joy might be full.

This is my commandment,

That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:10-12

Jesus spoke His words with joyful heart. His joy is in His words. The gospel of our Lord  Jesus Christ is a “glad tiding” because the message of good news came out of His cheerful spirit. He has spoken to us that His joy may remain in us. You see, Jesus is a happy person and His sermon in the Mount, the Beatitude is a road map for happy living. Jesus looked for the joy, the joy of giving His life for us. His life, death and resurrection is a masterful symphony of joy.

His commandment is a message of love. Love one another as He loved us. Our joy will be full as we obey his commandment. Our joy will never be complete unless we follow our Lord to the fullest. Jesus kept His Father’s will to abide in His Father’s love. Let us obey Jesus to abide in His love or love Him to death to make us obey His commandment.

Are you happy serving for Jesus? Are you filled with joy to know God as our Father? No man can take away the joy we have in Christ. Our joy is His Joy; He said , “that MY JOY might remain in you.” We can ask our Father anything in His name that our joy may be full. The joy of the Lord is our Strength. Listening to His Voice is a joyful thing to hear. Reading His Words is feasting with Him in a blessed fellowship in the Spirit.

And ye therefore now have sorrow:

but I will see you again,

and your heart shall rejoice,

and your joy no one taketh away from you.

And in that day ye shall ask me no question.

Verily, verily, I say unto you,

if ye shall ask anything of the Father,

he will give it you in my name.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name:

ask, and ye shall receive,

that your joy may be made full.

John 16:24

Conscious of His presence

“I also tell you this:

If two of you agree here on earth

concerning anything you ask,

my Father in heaven will do it for you.

For where two or three gather together as my followers,

 I am there among them.”

Matt. 18:19-20

Teach these new disciples to obey

all the commands I have given you.

And be sure of this: I am with you always,

even to the end of the age.”

Matt 28:20

God is omnipresent. There is no space in the universe where God is not present. His being occupies every known or unknown space for He fills everything in heaven and on earth. He knows no boundary and does not travel from place to another place. He does not give any territory to the enemy for His presence makes hell a burning bottomless pit. The reason God is God because He is present everywhere.

Jesus can be anywhere at anytime. This truth is a great consolation to everyone who is undergoing hardships in life. He can be with you during your ordeal, a comfort in times of sorrow and hope when things are not going your way. His presence can be everywhere according to His word.

God, the Father of Jesus Christ who is also our father will do anything we ask from Him. The Followers of the Lord around the world can join and agree together through the facilities of the internet outside the four walls of a church building, mosque or synagogue. WOJC network is asking our Father to bless and keep you who registers or visits our website. We love you, our friends out there.

Regardless of nationality or religion, we should be one in His presence. We are linked together in one Spirit and joined by His love. His Kingdom is not divided. The more we concentrate on the words of Jesus as our guide and referral, the more we become united in Christ.

We don’t exaggerate what and who Jesus is. Who He is — is what He says about Himself. We are not over-rating nor under-rating Him. He believe what He says about Himself and what He can do. Come to think of Him, we can not “magnify” Him, making Him bigger, greater and more powerful than what really He is. Lets be conscious of His holy presence.

“You have one Teacher”

But you are not to be called rabbi,

for you have one teacher,

and you are all brothers.

And call no man your father on earth,

for you have one Father, who is in heaven.

 Neither be called instructors,

for you have one instructor, the Christ.

Matt. 23:8-10

Basically, Jesus Christ is a Teacher. God sent Him to teach a new and higher kind of lifestyle which we may call it, the Beatitudes.  He was known as the savior of the world because of what he did on the cross but He was far more than that. He is a divine instructor, a master teacher and a rabbi with doctorate degree from heaven. You will miss the essence of the gospel truth if you miss Him as your personal teacher or mentor for life.

Have you accepted Christ as your personal savior? That is not enough to enter into His school of eternal life. You’ve got to follow and obey His teachings. Do what He says and become a student/disciple of the Lord and Master Jesus Christ . Salvation is through Christ as we live by His words. Unless you follow His words, you can not have eternal life, that is when you have enough time learn from Him and freedom to follow Him and then decide not to obey Him.

We have only one teacher from God. Jesus practiced what He taught perfectly. No other teacher had done what He did. Jesus asked His disciples to teach whatever He had commanded them. We should reject false teachers who teach another modified gospel. Many shall come in His name and misled people to believe their “improved” version of the gospel of Christ.

The early believers taught people to follow Christ under the power of the Holy Spirit. The disciples were anointed to teach but not to become teachers in place of the Lord Jesus Christ. The apostles were students like us and not teachers with authority above other people. We are all brothers and sisters in the Lord.

He confounded the teachers of the law of His time. They asked questions about eternal life and how to inherit the Kingdom of God. The religious elders were amazed by His intelligence even when He was a little boy.

The world has many teachers, professors and scholars who acquired their knowledge from somebody else whom they claimed as reliable sources. They only assumed that their research or findings were conclusively reliable facts, theories or philosophical assumptions.

This modern world can’t understand why we respecfully consider Jesus as our only “Teacher” in the kingdom of God. Our world is different from this world. We listen to His voice alone because He is our great Shepherd. Does Jesus know everything in men? If we say yes, therefore we can learn from Him through His words which is complete and perfect.

Don’t be misled when you read books by Bible scholars or higher critics. We have read tons of books and continuously reading more books, nevertheless, We are committed to Jesus Christ as our final and absolute teacher/mentor for a happy life. We always refer back to Him if we have unanswered questions in mind for He is our Way, our Truth and our Life.
