THE KINGDOM

Unto you it is given to know

 the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven,

but to them it is not given.

Matt 13:11

The kingdom of God is also the kingdom of heaven. Jesus used both terms interchangeably to teach about the kingdom of His Father. There is only one Kingdom that stands, it is not divided nor could be taken away from the sovereign God. So the lesson is —- one King for the Kingdom, the absolute ruler for a domain or the master for one household. There is no secret about the Kingdom if you’re a child of the King and a member of His household. The mysteries are no more mysteries since they had been revealed to the babes/little ones of the Kingdom.

Our Father which art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done in earth,

as it is in heaven.

Matt 6:8

The kingdom operates from heaven covering all creations and the universe including the earth which we call our world. Our Father who is in heaven does not mean that He is away from this world. He is omnipresent, for He is present everywhere, at any place. Otherwise, if He can be absent on one place or even from a tiny space, therefore he is not the God.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God,

and his righteousness;

and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matt 6:33

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God;

and all these things shall be added unto you.

Fear not, little flock;

for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Sell that ye have, and give alms;

provide yourselves bags which wax not old,

a treasure in the heavens that fails not,

where no thief approaches,

neither moth corrupts For where your treasure is,

there will your heart be also.

Luke 12:31-34

Jesus wants us to seek first the kingdom of God, His and our Father. Let us study the meaning of the Kingdom. For one thing sure, the Kingdom of God is within us. What is observable about the kingdom is its fruit, the outward manifestation of it, the good deed that lights up. So the Kingdom is not a place with boundaries. However, we can enter into the Kingdom anytime and anywhere through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then shall the righteous shine forth

 as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

He that hath ears, let him hear.

Matt 13:43

In the Kingdom is where eternal life begins. The everlasting life that flows from within is the spirit of the internal/ eternal Kingdom. We need eternal life in the eternal kingdom of His and our Father. That his why we come to Jesus Christ to have eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. We have to obey His words if we consider Him as our Lord.

Not every one that saith unto me,

Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matt 7:21

The Kingdom of Christ is not of this world. The kingdom of this world is not His as He mentioned that truth from the beginning of His ministry. It would be a grave mistake to make this wicked world a part of His Kingdom. He is not the ruler of this world. On the other hand, He preached the gospel of the Kingdom to the world and He has followers scattered around the world who are born again and living up to gospel of the Kingdom.

And Jesus went about all Galilee,

teaching in their synagogues, and

preaching the gospel of the kingdom,

and healing all manner of sickness and

all manner of disease among the people. Matt 4:23; 9:35

It is a tragedy to make a church as the kingdom of God. Any denomination or church is not the Kingdom considering the true concept and meaning of Christ about the Kingdom of His and our father. Jesus had condemned hypocrites of His times who wanted to show off their religiosity to the public.

“The Kingdom of God doesn’t come with observation;

  neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’

for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Luke 17:20-21
