From Heaven to Earth

John 3:13

No one has ascended into heaven,

but he who descended out of heaven,

the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

Did the life of Christ came into being when Mary gave birth of Him in Bethlehem? Where was He when Mary was conceiving to have a baby? Was He in the womb of His earthly mother? Where He really came from? Is Joseph, His father?

Jesus Christ testified that He descended out of heaven. From heaven He became flesh or human being through the miraculous conception of the virgin Mary. She was a blessed woman to carry a “flesh” in her womb. The baby “flesh” came into life when Jesus descended from heaven. The Son of Man came down from heaven

Heaven is where Jesus is and is so big, bigger than His human body. While he was on earth, He was also in heaven. That’s what He said. What kind of man is He? He is more than a man called Jesus. Though He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, He was more than a Jewish native because He came from the outer world of heaven. The Word has no race nor nationality. The eternal Word (LOGOS) is forever transparent.

We are not guilty of exaggeration. There is no need to make Him look good, we are just believing to He said about Himself. Our Lord Jesus Christ is ever-present for He said. “Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:

for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers:for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness ‘sake:

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you,

and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:

for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you

Matthew 5:1-12

We would like to honor the life of Nelson Mandela because he lived closely according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Honor is given to where honor is due. Mr Nelson Mandela is not a perfect man and we know that, but we can see in him a deeply rooted spiritual conviction in following the words of Christ by any means, even if it may cost his life.

Here are the salient points of his life on earth.

1. He loved his neighbors regardless of race, creed or color.

2. He loved his enemies. They became his friends and supporters to create a coalition.

3. He forgave those who do injustice to him. He spent years in jail without remorse.

4. He was a dedicated leaders of the poor and oppressed people.

5. He is a peacemaker. His countenance reflects peace and stability.

He practiced the “Beatitudes” of the sermon of the Mount of the Lord. The South African nation was blessed when a man lived according to the teachings of the Jesus Christ. Racial equality was established and apartheid was abolished. Mandela must have gotten these great ideas from his childhood. He had a good solid foundation in life. His mother was instrumental at his early age to the spiritual fortitude of the humble world leader.

We need more people like Nelson Mandela living the life and example of Christ. Men and women who would practice just what Jesus have said, making His words the guidelines for their living. We are praying for our subscribers/readers from South Africa. We hope to meet them someday. The Lord bless them and keep them as they celebrate the life of a great leader, Mr. Nelson Mandela.

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is his reward in heaven.

  I am the good shepherd:

the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd,

whose own the sheep are not,

seeth the wolf coming,

and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:

and the wolf catcheth them,

and scattereth the sheep.

The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling,

and careth not for the sheep.

I am the good shepherd,

and know my sheep,

and am known of mine.

As the Father knoweth me,

even so know I the Father:

and I lay down my life for the sheep.

And other sheep I have,

which are not of this fold: them also I must bring,

 and they shall hear my voice;

and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

John 10:11-16

The Lord Jesus Christ has started an affordable care act. It was an act of love for his followers. He gave His life for the sheep. His life is dedicated  for the care of the sheep. He knows them and they know His voice even in the dark. They may not exactly know Him as a person but they know His voice, His command and the word of truth that came out of His lips. A sheep has a limited knowledge of his shepherd. How can a sheep know the soul and the spirit of the shepherd? The sheep only knows him through his voice.

The medical practice of today should have been the alternative medicine to the wellness program of the Lord. The Lord heals wounds and kills pains, this is the basis of all medical practices. He uses doctors to manage His health care system. Come to think of it, who can really heals? Doctors can dispense medicine but who really can make it works? Drugs have their limitations and expirations. They are “killers” of some sort.

The holistic alternative medicine that we know is preventive medicine, by having good diet and regular meaningful exercise and etc. We get healing from organic raw food. God must have loaded them with vitamins and minerals for the need of our body. We have tons of vitamin pills in the market to sustain the need of our heath care.

People by in large ridicules the practice of “faith healing.” This is due to those who practice and teach healing for the purpose of making money. They are the  modern hirelings, a bad reputation to the cause of Christ. Jesus honors man’s faith regardless of his precondition health record. The gospel is a record of His miracle-working ministry. They asked for His words to be spoken and they were healed once He spoke the word of healing. He heals people as they follow His words.

The accessibility of the affordable health care of Jesus is without glitch and it works every time. You can call Him anytime in prayer. The line is always open and no co-pay is needed. He is the Good Shepherd. He can be our primary care giver and specialist in any kind of disorder, spiritually or mentally. He loves you and me.
