Creed is a summary of core beliefs or teachings. It is the sum total of all commandments. There were notable creeds that were created or made during the past several centuries. Religious creeds are more common from Islamic creed to Christian creed. A concise abridged law or main core belief is called the creed by major religions on earth.
Jesus has a creed; to love The Lord God ( The Abba Father ) and love our neighbor as ourselves which He labelled as the greatest commandment of all. Once we obey this creed, we can follow all of his commandments with relatively ease. His yoke is easy to carry because we love Him and honor our Abba Father.
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength,
and with all thy mind;
and thy neighbour as thyself.”
Love is the creed enforcer. Without love, it is impossible to deny ourselves to give our Abba Father the first place in our hearts. Without the pure and undefiled love, it is always hard to carry our crosses, to forgive our trespassers, to love the unlovable.
“If a man love me, he will keep my words:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him,
and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.”
Falling in love with Jesus Christ is more than going to church, keeping a picture image of somebody at home who looks like a middle eastern prophet or calling His name repetitiously in consonance with a church code. Loving Jesus is obeying His words as you read and understand them. The Holy Spirit will help you do just what Jesus meant you to do.
